IMPACT AREAS

A new standard for sustainability, decarbonising the built environment and supporting our planet. Corde's collaborative approach helps us to spark ideas and devise innovative responses to the climate crisis.

A new standard for efficiency that improves the energy performance of buildings. We take a fabric-first approach, taking early, informed decisions that provide the blueprint for a highly efficient building.

A new standard for use that considers how people relate to the spaces around them. We recognise that buildings are for people, not for architects or engineers – so we consider practical use at every stage of the design process.

THE NEW
STANDARD

We design buildings that minimise carbon footprint and maximise positive impact, using innovative, focused design.

This goes hand in hand with efficient buildings, and we constantly look for ways to improve energy performance in the long and short term.

And by creating buildings that respect their environment, we ensure that they also respect the people who interact with them – setting a new standard for sustainability, efficiency and use.

Our engineers and architects are specifically trained to tackle the problems of a changing planet, while supporting the people who live on it. Their qualifications include BREEAM assessment, Passivhaus and the WELL standard, and their projects have won awards for their contributions to sustainability, mental health and social value.

Our goal isn’t just to set a new standard for ourselves and our clients. We want to change the way people see buildings: how they’re built, who they benefit, and what they can achieve.
